Job Title: Store and Studio Co-ordinator 

House Nine is a full-service interior design studio based in London, dedicated to creating timeless, authentic, and liveable spaces. The studio is expanding our product range of curated homewares, including vintage artwork, fabrics, handmade furniture and unique accessories made by artisans worldwide. We have an exciting opportunity to join our store team as we expand our business in product and opening sales internationally. The ideal candidate is highly organised, confident in administrative tasks, works with numbers and has excellent communication skills. 

Start date: as soon as possible

Location: Notting Hill Studio, Full Time.

Please note that this is a role within the Store & Product Team, and an interest in interiors is preferred. Skills in CAD & Esti are essential. 

Store Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the efficient daily management of the store, ensuring the smooth processing of both bespoke and in-stock orders.
  • Oversee the production workflow and ensure timely dispatch of all orders with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Work on the development of new products, including CAD drawings and Photoshop renders. 
  • Processing bespoke orders for suppliers and clients, including fabrics and samples.
  • Deliver outstanding client service by responding to inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist the design team with the development of new products. 
  • Keep order records & delivery schedules meticulously updated, ensuring accuracy across all documentation.
  • Organise courier services for deliveries, guaranteeing prompt and secure dispatch.
  • Managing the House Nine Collections & Co. Instagram channel. 
  • Manage sample inventory to ensure that samples are kept in stock and up to date.
  • Ensure the storeroom is kept organised and functional.

Studio Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the studio’s operations run seamlessly on a day-to-day basis, maintaining an organised and productive workspace.
  • Arrange supplier visits to the studio. 

About you:

  • Excellent organisational skills with strong creative and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with a positive and friendly attitude and willingness to learn. 
  • Enjoys interacting with others, providing warm and welcoming communication with clients and building long-term and trusting relationships with suppliers and other designers.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel/ Google Sheets with experience with Shopify, Esti, CAD and Photoshop is essential. 
  • No task is too small attitude, we all help out each other in whatever way we can.

Job Title: Social Media Manager

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Social Media Manager will lead the development and execution of our social media strategy, ensuring a compelling and cohesive brand presence across all House Nine Design Studio channels. Focusing on community growth, engagement, and brand storytelling, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping how our design ethos is communicated to our audience.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, a strong aesthetic eye, and an intuitive understanding of translating design narratives into engaging digital content. They will be proactive and strategic thinkers, confident in content creation and social media management, and comfortable collaborating with in-house design teams to develop on-brand assets. Adaptability, creativity, and a keen awareness of industry trends will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic social media content calendar aligned with the brand's tone, visual identity, and business objectives.
  • Manage and oversee all social media channels, ensuring a strong, engaging, and consistent brand presence.
  • Create high-quality, design-led content, including imagery, videos, and copy, that showcases our projects, design philosophy, and curated collections.
  • Curate and manage an Instagram Stories and Reels content plan, including behind-the-scenes footage, project reveals, and client testimonials.
  • Work closely with the Store Team (House Nine Collections & Co.) to create content that promotes curated collections, design products and partnerships.
  • Curate and share design inspiration by showcasing materials, colour palettes, and styling tips that align with the House Nine aesthetic.
  • Monitor performance metrics (follower growth, engagement, conversion) and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations to enhance strategy.
  • Conduct regular social listening to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital opportunities.
  • Develop a long-term social media growth strategy, identifying opportunities for expansion on new and existing platforms.
  • Foster and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions in a way that reflects our voice and values.

About you:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a social media role, ideally within the interior design, luxury lifestyle, or creative industries.
  • A deep understanding of aesthetic-driven content creation, with a strong appreciation for interior design and styling.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and brand visibility.
  • Proficiency across major platforms, including Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft engaging and design-led content.
  • Strong visual and creative sensibility, with experience in curating and styling digital content.
  • Experience in content production, including photography, videography, and basic editing skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse social media data to inform content and strategy.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with designers, creatives, and marketing teams.
  • Knowledge of social media management tools and design platforms (e.g., Canva & Adobe Creative Suite).
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a passion for interiors and a keen eye for emerging design trends.
